Kyambogo University: After Igoe Sheila (MUBS) disappeared and found dead under mysterious circumstances, another student has gone missing from Kyambogo campus.
Nabutti Elsie, a third year student, persuing a bachelor’s in Development Studies has been missing for the past 5 days.
She was last spotted on Saturday 17, March.
The Kabalagala police have lodged a missing complaint based on the statement of her family.
Family members say that she had left home in Namboole saying that she would go to campus for her weekend lectures.
Nabutti’s friends say when they tried calling her, her phone numbers were off. The wave of insecurity has marred the country targeting university female students.
Her disappreance makes her the second female university student in less than a week after Igoe Sheila from MUBS whose body was found dead at City mortuary, Mulago hospital.
Sheila went missing last week Wednesday until yesterday when her body was identified by her patents. Any information regarding her whereabouts should be reported to a nearby police station.
