Nabbingo: Teachers strike over new curriculum training transport refund

The secondary school teachers who have been attending the new low-level secondary curriculum training have today morning struck over the transport refund promised to them by the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC).

According to the trusted sources, it is alleged that NCDC promised each teacher a transport refund of Ugx 30,000 at the end of the workshop but teachers feel it is not worth to offer them.

The workshop commenced early this week (Monday) at Trinity College Nabbingo, Wakiso organized by the National Curriculum Development Centre.
