Asection of the Kyambogo University students’ fraternity took it upon themselves this morning to demonstrate over the delayed release of the examination results for the previous semester.
Dressed in their blue gowns, armed with vuvuzelas and whistles, they raided the Senate building amidst police deployment.
According to a letter authored by the Kyambogo legendary activists fraternity to the University management on 20th of March, 2018, the students had given management a deadline of 24 hours to receive feedback on the release of the results.
However, these efforts seemed futile as there was no response hence fuelling today’s uproar.
“We are yet to sit for our end of semester 2 examinations and yet we do not have results for last semester. This is unfair,” one student boldly asserted.
News reaching our desk is that the students are planning a special meeting with the Vice Chancellor on this issue. We shall keep you updated on any new developments
