Isaac Muleme has left reigning Uganda Premier League champions KCCA the club has confirmed.
The left fullback has been at KCCA for the past one and half season and helped the club win the league and cup double last season.
The former SC Villa defender handed in a transfer request in December and was excluded from the Kasasiro’s CAF Champions League squad for the 2018 campaign.
According to the Ugandan champions, Muleme is headed to Egyptian club Al Assouity Sports Club.
Muleme becomes the second Ugandan in a period of less than one year to join an Egyptian side after Hassan Wasswa Mawanda.
The details of the deal remains scanty but the defender still had six months left on his contract.
Meanwhile, the club is yet to resolve the Benjamin Ochan issue.
The goalkeeper, just like Muleme was also not registered for continental competitions after reports he was meant to join Zambia’s Nkana but the deal fell through.
Its reported that Ochan and his representative are in talks with the club, KCCA over the next move.
